A friend was in a relationship that ended some years ago.
He found an old account book, that he had, a joint account in both himself and his partners name. There is some monies in the account but he needs his partners and his own i.d.'s to re-activate the account.
As well as both signatures for withdrawal etc.
As his partner has only a small amount of money in the account she has not been forthcoming in producing i.d. e.g. passport etc to re-activate the account so my friend can gain access to his more substantial amount in the account. She is not interested in helping from what I can see.
Any one have any suggestions or what procedures should follow as to how my friend may gain access to the funds?
