I got my May 2005 American Express statement today and was horrified to find the new balance was so small.
On further investigation I noticed a credit being my annual awards redemption (1% rebate) of over €400 (minus the ******* €40 stamp duty). Nice job Amex!
I agree it's not accepted everwhere, but if your in a position to charge business expenses to a credit card, it's not a bad little incentive.
Ha, Ha, I'm laughing all the way to the bank - and it's not with the AIB Waterford Rocha platnium card..........
