Went through preclearance this morning, zero issues.
The usual scanned boarding pass, passport and biometric photos taken, what's the purpose of your visit.
They took my husband's finger prints but not mine.
I suspect the reason for this is that he is on a new passport whereas the one I am on I have flown to the States twice before on it?
Anyway no phone checks etc, all very normal.
Now would it be different if you were going there for longer who knows!
