Am I maxed out on my tax relief for my age group on AVC contribution?

I'm 39 and I see the max tax relief for pension contributions is 20%.
My employer contrubutes 8% to my pension and I 12%.
So am I correct that I'm maxed out for my age group and that any AVC contribution does not recieve tax relief.

No. The tax relief levels relate to your personal contributions only. The employers contribution is not included.
