Sorry if the answer to my question is already posted but I got confused.
In 2007 I earned €19,791
In 2009 I earned €24,673
In 2010 I earned €24.243

Other posters have mention a salary cut off of €26k p.a. I have looked on Revenue website but the figure seems to be €15,028. Is that a new figure now? Am I entitled to a refund of the Income levy as I earned below €26k ?
Would love some good news please...
Thanks in advance

You're getting confused between Health Levy and Income Levy, which were 2 different things (as of this year they're amalgamated into the Universal Social Charge).

So to answer the question, no you aren't entitled to a refund of Income Levy, but you would be entitled to a refund of any Health Levy you paid (i.e. if for some reason you were paid over €500 in any individual week, then you would have had Health Levy deducted as part of your employee's PRSI payment).

Thanks for clearing that up for me mandelbrot. Was getting confused between Health Levy and Income levy alright. Sending off copies of my P60s today so hopefully will be able to claim back any Health Levy paid.
Thanks
