Alternatives to the Book Depository

Kennys are ok but I found their website is clunky

Try the local charity shops

Also join your local library and download the Borrowbook App, it's a great free resource for Audio books

I use Kobo as an app as I hate Amazon.

Good selection and I downloaded the app to Desktop and Mobile so I have everything in one place. I moved away from books but will sometimes buy one.

Thank you Early Riser, I've just tried Kennys now for the first time.

I've also come across this group - https://www.bookworld.ie - I haven't ordered from them yet, but they seem to have a fairly broad range ot titles.

Shame really, I've enjoyed using them and their offerings for the last 16 years.

World of books. Wob.com

Use the UK site as they put a large paddy tax onto the Irish version

Thanks Peemac for reminding me of this.

I had an account when it was World of Books but had forgotten about it.

I had forgotten your advice to stay on the UK website.

I paid €21.89 for the book + free shipping and was delighted as it was the same price + shipping from Amazon.

I checked the UK website and it was £14.79 . Is the UK website free shipping to Ireland?

I presume that there is no VAT or customs or anything else on books from the UK?

UK site is £1 shipping to Ireland. No VAT or duty on books.

Your example is not the worst. I bought one for £11.99 + £1 P&P v Irish site €19.99
