Laya Alternative to LAYA ConnectCare

My inlaws a male aged 71 and female aged 67 are currently insured with Laya on their ConnectCare policy.The price was risen again this year to €1457 per person or €2914 for the two of them.Being pensioners its a lot of money to find.Wondering if there are any alternative policies from LAYA or other companies that would have similar benefits.
They would be ok with paying some hospital excess or some reduction in the ability to get refunds for everyday medical expenses if it resulted in a lower premium and savings.Any help appreciated.

Welcome to AAM. The following 3 Laya plans are well worth considering;
1. Simplicity plan; orice 1044pa; same hospital cover as before + private room in private hospital covered, private/hi-tech
hospital excess max 100 x 2 pa, day case excess 50, outpatient cover - excess 100.

2. Ideal Simplicity; price 1250pa; same hospital cover as 'Simplicity plan', only difference is outpatient excess 50 per person pa.

3. Simply Connect Plus; price 1099pa; same hospital cover as before, private/hi-tech hospital excess max 150 x 1 pa, outpatient excess 1 euro
max refund 500 per person per year. Private/hi-tech day case excess 50 per visit.
