My local soccer club has recently installed state of the art floodlighting and have now started receiving state of the art bills for same. We have gone back to the contractor etc but apparantly we need 100 KVA available to run these lights and ESB are charging us whether we use this or not. Bills are coming in at 700 a month and when we tried to talk to the ESB they as good as told us to look for another provider. I have heard of Airtricity are there others other there - we are also looking at possibility of a generator but are waiting for more info from the company who specified lights and the company who installed them.
