There's a brand new Laya plan released from 1st July 2017, called 360 Care plan, which is an excellent alternative to Company Care Plus.
Details as follows;
1. Laya 360 Care plan; adult price 1750pa; all public, private and 3 hi-tech hospitals covered. No excess to pay for admissions or day case -same
as before. Extra full cover for a private room in a private hospital. Very good day to day cover, 75% refund on most expenses including
radiology. Lower hi-tech shortfall of 100 per night.
2. A second alternative option with Laya, worth considering is called 'Simplicity' plan, price 1191 per adult. Details as follows;
All public, private and 3 hi-tech hospitals covered. Private/hi-tech excess 100 x 2 max per year, day case 50 per visit. Full cover for a private
room in a private hospital on this plan - just 100 excess x 2 admissions per year. Good day to day cover - first 100 not allowed.

Child Options
There are a few options worth considering as follows;
1. Laya 360 Care; price 447pa; all public, private and 3 hi-tech hospitals covered, no private excess. Very good day to day cover on this plan.
2. Laya Simply Connect; price 275pa; all public, private and 3 hi-tech hospitals covered, private excess 150 x 2 max per year for admissions
or 50 per day case. Good day to day cover - max yearly refund 50% of 600 = 300 pa.
3. VHI One Plan Complete; price 167pa( half price offer from 1 August 2017) all public, private and 3 hi-tech hospitals covered as before,
no excess as before. There is very limited day to day cover on this plan but the savings overall will cover a lot of health expenses.

Note; VHI allow children to be insured on their own, without an adult. An adult is just named on the policy but only the children are insured.
