Ditto - I saw the ad for it in the paper and just said 'why do they bother?'. If you did even the barest amount of research/shopping around, you'd get a far better deal. Amazing that they are so entrenched in the market they are confident/arrogant enough to bring out such a mediocre offering.

They bother because they are justifiably confident about consumer ignorance - they wouldn't be introducing the new cards if they thought they weren't going to make money. I am eternally amused at how some garages in my neck of the woods can get away with charging 6 or 7 cent a litre more than others close to them and still do business.
