AIB increasing fixed mortgage rates again (Nov 2022)

AIB to raise new fixed mortgage rates by another 0.5%.

Changes to take effect from close of business today.

Customers who draw down their mortgage by 16 January can avail of previous rates.

Submitted the signed forms to AIB to change to a fixed rate of 2.6% last week, have received no correspondence, just wondering have I lost out on the current rates. Thanks

Further to my above question, looked at their website and found the following:

I am a mortgage customer and have submitted a request to fix my mortgage interest rate. Does this change affect me?​

We will charge the previous rate (before the increase) to customers who have asked us to fix their rate using the mortgage amendment form from our website by close of business on 25 November 2022.
