AIB / BoI Account Transfers

Hi

We are with UB at present and one of the nice things you can do on their app is instant transfers to any other UB account (happens within seconds). We use this a lot for sending money to the kids accounts etc and never have to worry about any delays.

As we plan our switch, Is this also possible with both BoI and with AIB? Any issues/limitations we should be aware of?

I have a BoI account and you can send money instantly online to any BOI account.
PTSB had a great feature where you can set up a transfer before midnight to non PTSB for next working day transfer. I closed my PTSB current account over two years ago so this info could be out of date.

It’s the same with AIB. Instant transfer to other AIB accounts using the app. I use it a lot with the kids too
