Hi all.
From some of the postings I have done you will know that we are not at all happy with our solar panels performance. We installed 8 sq mtrs and have been repeatedly in touch with the guy we purchased them from requesting that they be checked for performance compared to my brothers system, which is up to 30 degrees underneath his system on the roof at some times.

We purchased them from guy 1 and all our cheques were to his company. But he uses another guy 2 to install the systems. One blames the other...

The system also looses pressure and is flat with the past two months. We notified the company both in person and in letter by registered post to repair it, letter sent on Nov 18 all to no avail or response.

We paid E 3675 for panels, + E 1000 for fitting, + VAT at 13.5% + copper piping, lagging + tank etc.

We have made multitudes of phone calls over the past couple of years, a few letters sent by registered post and a letter from our solicitor. All with no response.

What course of action do people recommend, take him to court? Grin and bear it as a bad investment. If take him to court, what chances of success do we potentially have and idea of expense and time frame? I know if we take him to the small claims court it will cost minimal, but limited to E2000 claim.

Thanks for any help you can give.
