Hi
We are converting part of our house into a self-contained apartment. We want to put an electric shower into it, but we have one in the main house already (and are planning to put another shower, not electric, in another shower room we are constructing in the main house). In order to avoid having to give the apt a separate circuit and getting the boys from the overpriced ESB to do this, we have to come up with a plan B if we want to continue on this line. We are thinking of putting the shower that is currently in the main house into the apt and using two 'ordinary' showers in the main house instead. Is this a runner?
Any suggestions re the types of ordinary showers ... would it be possible to have two power showers or is this likely to be highly expensive in terms of water heating (and water usage, if that becomes an issue in years to come, as well as fm an environmental pov). We have to change the cylinder anyway. Any other issues we should be aware of?
Any thoughts appreciated. Tks.
