Just wondering of someone could offer some advice? My partner works in the Construction Industry and as you all know, this industry is in a dire state. He's a scaffolder and currenly working but that is due to end in two weeks. We have a baby on the way, so needless to say, this is not an ideal situation. We cannot survive on my Maternity Benefit and his Dole.
We discussed our options, and as there seems to be no work of any kind available in Ireland, the option of working abroad had come up.
I've often hear of people woring on Oil rigs etc, and wondered if anyone might advise on the best place to start looking for jobs of this kind, or even jobs in the uk? Any advice at all is much appriciated.
