Advice on whether to move my savings?

Hi

I have a Rabo account which from today will yield 4.3%

I see that you can get over 7% for regular savings elsewhere (up to about a max of 1000 per mth lodgement). It seems to make sense to me set one of these up and gradually siphon 1k per mth from Rabo, leaving the remainder to still get 4.3%. Am I being over simplistic here?

Once it has all been moved I can drop the 1k lodgement per mth to something more affordable

It makes sense to move the money to where you can get the best rate. This may mean one or more of the other high yielding demand or term lump sum and/or regular saver deposit accounts depending on things like the rate guarantee, terms & conditions, your specific needs etc.
