I am involved with a charity group that have a World record attempt in Dublin in a few weeks. Whats the situation with posting details of the event on this forus? Is it ok to do, or is it against the ethics of the site?

As advertising is not allowed under it would probably be in breach of same.

You could though send a or e-mail to Brendan Burgess and run your request by him.
