Advice on Lump Sum Deposit

I hope I'm posting this in the correct section. I've consulted the Best Buys section but many of the entries seem outdated so hopefully someone can help, especially given how the criteria one would apply to a decision are changing on an almost daily basis! I want to put €50,000 on deposit for 6 months to a year and have €150,000 on demand. What's the best strategy? I don't want any messing around with feeding money into regular savings accounts. Thanks in advance for any assistance or advice given.

The main best buys lists of lump sum demand and term and regular saver accounts are more or less up to date. www.itsyourmoney.ie also has some useful lists. There are innumerable threads already on mixing and matching numbers of such accounts to maximise deposit interest returns. Another one seems a bit pointless.
