advice on courses for policing / crime Analyst

Hi all

Does anyone have any idea's on where i could do the following course "policing / crime Analyst" preferably night course.

Forensics ??

In Ireland / Europe, only people allowed in court with Forensic data are law officials .....

What career are you looking to go into after this qual.
 
Are you sure? I thought that expert witnesses could present forensic evidence where appropriate and where called? This includes "eForensics" ([broken link removed]).
 
This was case in 2006, checked into it cause I am CCE (Forensics), and wonder about relevance of certification.

In states it was no problem, but Europe it was different.


Will check this out.

Contacted DCU and asked can this course enable me to perform forensic examination, and bring to court , or is this area covered by Law Enforcement .....


Few mails later, they have no grads who have performed this role, but got nice jobs in big firms , maybe internal work for customers, or outsourced by Garda to the big infosec firms.

Wonder what skillsets they have in Harcourt St. ???
