Advice on a Lease

I need advice on a lease please.
I have a client who owns a property. He wishes to lease the property to his company. There are 2 directors in the company, but he is the only shareholder.
Can he sign the lease himself on behalf of the company and then sign the other part of the lease as the landlord?
Is this legal?

Also, what is the minimum rent he can charge for the property?

I would have thought you'd have to ask a solicitor. As regards minimum rent, surely there is no such thing. But setting a below market rent for related parties might have some tax implications.
