just to ask if anyone has any helpful advice or experience.
we got into arrears on mortgage, quiet significant amount over the period of about three years totalling about 75k (between arrear on main and then on topup)....on mortgage of 200k...the house value is about 150k
the mortgage was with EBS and is now with Mars capital. we have agreed to a six month trial to repay just the min on the main mortgage and parked the top repayments for the month during this time.
our issue is we are struggling to get ontop of the mortgage payments of 1100 in total. we have cleared all smaller debt and have just a credit union loan of 7k at the moment which is being repayed slowly but regularly.
would any like an insolvency clear any of these built up arrears or is it a case that they are always going to be repayable?
we are working with mabs at present wad just to see any experience or advise. thank you.
