Address typo on Mortgage deeds

Hello,

I have noticed that there is a so called 'typo' on the address of my Mortgage deeds and would like to have this corrected. Corresponence being sent to me, whilst arriving ok has an incorrect spelling in the address.

The bank advised that the address handwritten on the scanned original mortgage deed is corresponding with what they have on their system, they won't accept that they are misreading the spelling and are refusing to change the address.

Is there any way to get this corrected without having to pay a solicitor?
 
You could always return a few of the letters... that might get them motivated to sort it out.....
