Acre Garden and Fencing

Hi - I'm on around an acre of garden (house sits in the middle). I've three young kids and the garden is completely open with no fencing/boundaries etc which means that if they go out in the garden I have to be with them all the time (in case the younger ones decide to go walkabout :)). Has anyone any ideas on a low cost way of partitioning the garden / fencing it in as I have absolutely no clue where to start and what type of costs are involved. Any info/advice/recommendations much appreciated. Thanks

The cheap way to do this would be to plant small hedges so that they grow to fill this in for you, a standard 6x6 fence will cost you about 24e per panel which with post and concrete will run up a tidy bill. but check out abwood homes, or timber trove there websites may assist you, i have no connections with either firm stated

give a buzz to a fencing contractor, something like a post and rail fence with coated chicken wire would do the trick, pretty standard, and it wont cost you anything to get a quote.you will want something sorted before the summer so the little ones can enjoy the lawn in the summer.
