Acer laptop problem

hi ya , my mate just asked me if i could fine a solution to his laptop problem
He owns a electrical shop and has been ordering goods online from his suppliers over the past few years. But this week he has tried and failed to order goods from the company. When he clicks to confirm an order he gets an error saying "error 1042 could not store data" ?
He rang up the company and they ran an order from a seperate laptop and worked fine.
Any solutions ?

I can't seem to access the Microsoft Support pages from the PC I am using, so you should try yourself and type in the error code, they will probably have the solution.
