I did a lot of UB and KBC downloading over Christmas moviesWas thinking about this, at best can only get 7 years historic statements as pdf's etc Patiently downloading them now! I asked in branch about further back and got a shrug.
I think 7 years is the generally accepted time to keep records, e.g. BoI sayCan this be right? People need all sorts of data for all sorts of reasons years later. Wouldn't the regulator have required some warehousing of data?
• As a general rule, we keep your information for a specified period after the date on which a transaction has completed or you cease to be a customer. In most cases this period is seven (7) years, but may be twelve (12) years where we had a deed in place.
