I am looking at starting an ACCA DipFM. I work in business, and think this course would help my career as it would give me a better understanding of the overall area of accounting / finance etc.
I have found quite a few courses that run (starting in the next week or two) that do this Dip in Finance Mgmt. At the end of the course, you then sit the ACCA exam to get certified. Due to work / travel committments I would find it very hard to make sure I was available on say a Tuesday night for the next 9 months.
What I'm wondering is has anyone on here done this by self-study / distance learning. If so:
- who did you do it with?
- what was the cost?
- what level of effort was involved per week of study, and for how long etc?
