ABS light intermittantly on, 2002 Ford Mondeo

Hi all
My boyfriend just bought a new secondhand car, a 2002 Ford Mondeo. The dealer has some things he needs to fix on the car still. However, the ABS light is flashing intermittently on the dash.
The car is handling well so far.
Does anyone know if this is a serious problem? He is going to get the dealer to have a look at it, but I'm a bit concerned that he might say that the (3 month) car warranty does not cover electronic faults, just major parts (engine etc)
Any thoughts appreciated

Probably just need the sensors cleaned. quick and cheap job
