As a lot of Irish makers' outlets and retailers are closed during the pandemic, much online shopping is done on overseas websites.

To redress this balance a bit, I want to highlight Irish websites where you can buy online.

This is an exception to our "no advertising" rule. But please respect the intent of the rule. Keep your recommendations to a brief description without images and advertising puff.

Is the list of categories about right? Am I missing any?

Any other suggestions?

Any volunteers to take a particular category and compile a list of links.

What about a geographic analysis? For example, Online suppliers in Galway area. I think it would be a bit messy but could be useful closer to Xmas for Click and Collect.

What about a listing for regional sites? www.about_ballymagash.ie like the example you did for Drogheda/Dundalk with direct links to the suppliers themselves whether categorised or not?

I've contacted a couple of people directly about a listing on Ireland's premier consumer web-site for FREE and the lethargy is astounding. I'm now struggling for ideas hence the proposal.
