abandoned crashed car in our estate - how to get rid?

For the past week there has been a crashed car parked directly across from our house. The front of the car is badly damaged and it appears that it was just abandoned there. It isn't even parked up properly. Apart from being an eye sore it is taking up a valuable car space! I have never seen this car before in the estate which makes me convinced that it was just abandoned there.

I have made a note of the number plate. Any idea's as to the best way to get it removed? Should I inform the local Gardai?
 
A car without licence plates is considered illegal dumping and will be removed by your local litter warden.
