We are mid build - roof just felted and have two areas that we need advice on. The house is a 3200 sq ft dormer.
a - Roof insulation
Is is better to go for pumped in insulation in the roof or a rigid product such as rafterloc? We have rigid board in the walls and floors. I know we need to leave a ventilation gap of 50mm between the rigid board and the felt but how does this work with the pumped in stuff? The heating system will be geothermal running on underfloor heating. So after paying for that we want to have the best roof insulation we can afford.
b - Waste Treatment System
We have gotten quotes form O'Reilly's (Oakstown system) and Biocycle.
Does anyone have either of theses systems and would you recommend it?
