I have a small kids lamp and the bulb went.
My daughter said it actually popped, so not sure if the actual lamp has broken as well.
I have a 50W bulb of the same type and it doesnt work in it when I tried.
Does that mean that the lamp is definitely broken?
There is a message on it saying 25W Max, which is what I will put in it, as its a plastic kids lamp, so unsafe otherwise, but if the lamp is broken, I wont bother getting a bulb. Can the lamp be made to only work with 25W bulbs and nothing higher? Is that possible?
Its one of those long life bulbs, not so cheap, I dont want to buy another 25W, which will not be used anywehere else in the house, just to find the lamp is broken. No chance of a refund if I have opened the packaging.
Thanks
