I think that looks like a good representation. I would hope myself and my wife would qualify for the state pension (as long as it is not means tested by then). Which would give us a pension €50k combined (excluding rental income) from age 66.

I assume when you say you retired 3 years ago you really semi-retired and it was more a career change to do something you enjoy rather than work which may not be as enjoyable?From my experience so far, the perfect mix is 50% desk work, 50% outdoor work
Absolutely agree and people need to plan towards retirement - but just financially but also lifestyleThere was just too many hours in the day and you do get bored doing nothing. As the OP said he needs to find something fulfilling.
