4 weeks unpaid leave from work!

I am taking 4 weeks unpaid leave from work in Feb for personal reasons, I am just wondering whats the story tax wise I wont be paying tax or prsi as I wont be earning, what way will it affect me? will I have more tax credits? am I entitled to any tax back etc? I have'nt a clue!

If your employer leaves you active on the payroll, which I believe they should, you will receive any refunds you're entitled to as the tax-system is designed to be "self-levelling".
