37" Sharp TV on ibood.com

Just saw the deal of the day on ibood.com is a 37" HD ready Sharp for 599. Cheapest I could see elsewhere in Ireland was ~1000 so i thought it was a good deal!
As far as I can see it's a good tv but if anyone has any different opinions can you please advise?
 
That looks good value to me but I know nothing about TVs - would be interested know if the TV geeks give it the thumbs up

I'm also considering this in Argos. It's about €1200.
 
Just looked again and noticed the contrast ratio of the Sharp is 1200:1 which seems lower than others (the Samsung is 7000:1). That said, it might be fine to watch - does anyone know?
 
We bought a Sony Bravia 37" in Dunnes Stores a few months back for 899. I've seen them for 849 since.

We got 20% back in Dunnes points = vouchers worth 180 euro.

Net price = 720.
