That seems an extremely high price to zone a system even with a Climote.
Climote including installation is €299. Zoning works will depend on what works are required to your system but it should be nowhere near €1,700.
IMHO Climote is over-priced & over-rated regarding the savings you will achieve. If you are returning home from work at generally the same time everyday, a standard timeclock can do what the Climote can do, i.e. switch on the heating at a given time.
There is also an annual charge of €36 to consider also.
