Hi Effervescent,
There are a few alternatives to consider with all 4 providers, without compromising on hospital cover, and some with good day to day cover
at cheaper prices.
Option 1; Laya Healthcare; Adult Options;
Simply Health Excess plan; price per adult 1019(1049)pa - good hospital cover(125 excess) + good outpatient cover 50% refund for gp etc.
Note; prices in brackets include 3% charge if paying by instalments.
or
Connectcare; price per adult 990(1017)pa - new plan launching on Friday 9th August 2013 ( your renewal date) details of this plan will be
available to view on HIA.ie on 9/8/2013. This plan looks very promising, I'll be keeping an eye on this one myself for a few family members.
I'll post an update on Friday if its worth considering.
Just checked out Connectcare and it's highly recommended, better than Simply Health Excess. This will be ideal for my own family members.

For further options with Aviva and Glohealth, what age is your child? This may be significant for relevant offers.
