2 single beds fr double room apmt. Want the option of joining them to form double bed

Looking for recommendation on 2 single beds for double room apartment.

I want the option of joining them to form double bed or to keep them single if required.

Is there such a thing as a mattress topper to place on mattress of 2 single beds to help join them if necessary.

You are looking for a zip & link bed, two singles that can be zipped together to form a larger size bed for a couple.

many thanks furntech ,just wanted to know would a mattress topper be a help.
 
Could you put a double mattress on the 2 beds joined together and store the singles under the bed/in the garage. Make sure you measure the two beds together though before you buy the mattress.
