I own a house for the last 3 years in my home town where I lived for 2 years. Then I got a job elswhere and I bought a house in my new location. I'm living in the new location for 6 months now but I never sold the old house. I use the house at weekends and holidays.
Now I may have an opportunity to move back to my hometown so I would consider moving back to my original house and sell the second house.
I know this story is a bit confusing but I was just wondering where I stood as regards selling the second house. I never rented the first house so would there be tax implications?
