183 days tax rule after moving home from Aus

Hi ,
I am Irish and moved back from Australia in September 2007 ( bad timing , I know! ) and subsequently paid income tax as I thought was normal .
Since then I have heard of the 183 day rule and wonder should I have paid any Irish income tax for 2007 at all? ( I was working in Aus and paid full income tax there for the previous 10 years )

I'd say you'd have to pay it in Aus if you did not have to pay here
