My better half had one for 5 years and despite being used to a 2.5 litre bmw i honestly must admit i thought it was great. Incredibly cheap running costs from a tax/ins/servicing/petrol point of view. Loads of room especially since the rear seats fold down (hers was a three door). Small and easy to drive in traffic and park.
The only negative i could think of was i found the seats uncomfortable on long journeys but otherwise it's a great buy. Make sure it has full service history (call the garage to confirm this) and get someone to check it out mechanically though there's not a whole lot that goes wrong with them bar maybe the clutch (which we had done just before selling it on).
