You are paying for experience and the skill to do the job.
Seems like you he was fair on the materials mind.
I had a roofer on my roof recently, no way I would skip around the roof the way he did. No fear.
Worth paying for.
If you pay this bill you are implicitly stating agreement with what appears to be shoddy workmanship. It is clear from your post that this work was not done to your satisfaction and you have evidence of having contacted the roofer subsequently to state this. Rervert to him with a copy of previous contact stating that you will pay the bill when the works are completed to your satisfaction.I got a roofer out who glued the tile back together and said he would be back to replace the missing bit On the side - he never came back though I rang and emailed him .

So what if he charges another €150 to do the fascia ? I would pay him. The price sounds right. He is obviously unreliable and better to get someone who is not than be playing games with this guy.+1 If the job is not complete then tell him you will pay him when it is complete to your satisfaction and only then.
