Key Post: Birmingham.........

Going to see Aston Villa vs Liverpool in Birmingham. Flying in via Ryanair. Going over on the Friday coming back on Sat night.

Now, I haven't a clue regarding the layout of Birmingham. Anyone able to suggest a decent hotel that is preferably handy to the centre of Birmingham and also convenient for getting to and from the airport and to Villa Park.

Also - in case you are not aware Villa Park is only 15 mins from the centre of Birmingham - New St Station.

Birmingham airport also has a mainline connection to New street which is handy - you just need to get the free bus connection from the terminal to the station. They used to have a handy mono-rail but this was stopped for some reason.
