Key Post: Golfing Holidays

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm looking for a hotel for about 12 people (6 rooms) to stay (preferably, but a guesthouse/pub would do) on the 25 Sept somewhere not more than 2 hours or so from Dublin and costing around 50 euro each.

I am also looking for a half decent Golf Club with green fees of about 20-30 euro's.

Maybe someone can suggest an hotel that can provide both reasonably? The problem is with some hotels; it's a Saturday and only a 1 night stay.

We normally stay in Carlow and Kilkenny and play in Borris but everywhere, even half reasonable, is fully booked up or won't take just 1 night! Know it's late 'n all!

Hello,

I'm looking forward to a weekend of Golf, Beer, Ryder Cup and you got it....Poker.
12 of us going down, 2 teams, 3 days competition (a la Ryder Cup)

Gold Coast Hotel, Dungarvan, EUR1000, 2 Villa, between 12 of us (3 nights)

Golf 95 Euro for 3 rounds (Gold Coast, Dungarvan and West Waterford)

So works out at EUR 178 each, which I think is quite good for 3 nights accommodation and 3 rounds golf on good courses
