Irish Broadband woes

I've posted a mixture or positive and negative feedback about Irish Broadband's services in the past but of late I have to say that they seem to be really disastrous and right now I would urge people to steer well clear of them or at the very least get a trial period with them to evaluate their service before committing to a fixed term contract. Things seemed to be working OK so far this year but in the last few weeks we have had many intermittent outages and the link has become completely unreliable. Almost all attempts to contact support have failed and I was left holding on the phone the two dozen or so times that I attempt to contact them. I did manage to contact a support person once who confirmed that at the time some of their high sites were down (due to a power outage - don't they have any redundant backup PSUs?!) and was totally unable to give me an estimated time for resumption of the service. Very poor service and one to be avoided if this continues... :mad:
