Can a company make you take good friday as part of your 20 days holidays,

Yes, as long as there is no clause in your contract that states that you have freedom to allocate your own holidays. They must give reasonable notice that they are doing so.

As part of our T&C we are required to retain 1 day for Good Friday & 2 days for Christmas.

We get 27 days but one day must be good friday, one must be the Tuesday after Easter and Christmas can be 3 or 4 days (but they have to tell us in September)

It's well for ya, I get 20 but don't usually get to take them all.

I cant believe my holiday entitlements :
we get 34 days standard, plus 17 bank/church holidays (this is in spain).

This is working for a large american multinational - I'd say our american counterparts aren't too pleased!
