Cleaning wooden blinds

Hi,

I have wooden blinds through out my house. Have some realatives coming who will want the grand tour so they need a good clean. They are manky with dust.

Anyone have any good tips for cleaning them easily? I seen a cleaner thing in the argos book, anyone have that? Is it any good? Should I just get some soapy water and do them one by one?

Thanks in advance :)

I got this pledge fluffy duster thing with an extension handle in the supermarket for mine. I think it does a great job, actually holds the dust onto the fluff instead of just moving it around. flick the blinds one way, dust and then flick them the other way and dust.

What SNB said. I have the Fluffy Duster (Green handle) and it wipes the dust off my wooden blinds brilliantly!

SNB

cannot believe that, I was about to say the exact same thing, thats the way I clean my blinds, does a brilliant job!
