Calculate no. of radiators

Would anyone know of a website to help calculate the number of radiators required for a house....

This post has a calculator. There are also others mentioned on the site but I can't find them just at the moment. You might have a root around yourself.

I might be wrong but the formula I use is 10 sq Feet of room to 1 sq ft of radiator, ie (a 12 by 12 room = 144 sq ft which would want 14 sq of rad which would be a double 3.5 X 2 ft rad ).sounds about right.

Thanks for all the info but does anyone know what regs you would find this info? going on that calculation the rad is definatly too small for that room.
