AIB You can call the helpline to see if you are included

I rang the help line today. As advised on call, all and only anyone who got the letter back in March 2018 with the €1650 cheque is included in this latest announcement. The 12% redress is fixed. That’s across the board for everyone. Write down of 12%. The variable or case specific element...

Hi Brendan , I’m 100% there , I have to admit the complimentary sambos are a draw for me, but what you have stated above is so right. We owe it to the people who are fighting for us , we owe it to ourselves. Looking forward to it.

AIB Let your TD know about the AIB prevailing rate issue

@coolaboola12 im not a usual FF voter - but I have to say they are the only party really taking initiative on this. My discussion with local TD's on the matter FF do seem to be the ones to want to get it resolved for the people. That still won't stop me raising it with FG and the others...

8,700 tracker cases still being disputed

Yea really good article , would think with 8000+ mortgage holders still advising they have not been redressed / addressed this is a number too high for central bank to ignore.

AIB Will the new Chief Executive of AIB do a Francesca McDonagh on it?

@verywhys , yup - Aib caught up in a ball of lies trying to defend themselves and as such their defences actually contradict themselves. The defence you noted is they say we were not on a tracker. This is actually a pro to our argument..... We would have been on a tracker if Aib had not...

AIB March 16th: Deadline to make appeal on the AIB €1615 Tracker - what to do if YOU have not yet appeal

First things first Ring AIB on 1800 235460 or 01 7715888. and ask for an appeal pack. This should create a case, ask for your case number. Then ring BDO, the company handling the appeals, tell them you are making an appeal but waiting for AIB to send you out a pack. Supply your case number...

AIB Step by step guide to making an appeal on the AIB €1615 tracker

@kb_whatsgoingon , as far as I am aware the reply comes from AIB - BDO just act as the “broker” between the person appealing and the bank. So it’s AIB’s reply - just comes through BDO. So the unprofessional aspect of the reply I would feel is AIB. However in saying that , I have rang BDO...

AIB "I just got a letter from AIB offering me €1,615 and a tracker at 3.32%. What should I do?"

It generally takes about a month to get reply - and the reply AIB will send will be designed to muddle and confuse the issue with irrelevant info. For both initial appeal and any subsequent replies I feel best for us to avoid getting embrawled in arguments that take away from the central and...

AIB Step by step guide to making an appeal on the AIB €1615 tracker

Hi @kb_whatsgoingon , your so very right. Reply I got from AIB was 50 pages - back and front so that’s 100 pages designed to confuse the matter. Little if any of the of the “supporting” documentation they jammed into the envelope was to do with the argument. My reply was short , very...

AIB Step by step guide to making an appeal on the AIB €1615 tracker

Yes the high court action , Like any court case is unprecedictable - but I believe it is strong. Aib should also sense the unpredictably of court and this case - I would suggest we will be keener on the fight than AIB will
