Also received a letter yesterday with cheque enclosed. Compensation is generous. For the bank that took the longest to come to the table they are dealing with this at 'lightening' speed!!

KBC KBC giving me back my tracker!

Just checked the bank account! Trackers returned. Its 9 years since challenging the bank, and 7 since contacting Padraic Kissane. The years since then have been a nightmare and Im so happy to be closing this chapter. Holiday just booked, and looking forward to that day. Just to remind...

Totally disagree! Was it not Sarenco who called the "flyer" a red herring

KBC Is the KBC 'prevailing' rate argument dead in the water?

I don't believe anyone on this thread can give you the correct answer to that question right now. You need to contact Padraic Kissane since he met with KBC recently he would know the answer. He sat in front of top management and he would know the position as it stands.

KBC KBC returned my tracker, after taking it from me as a condition for restructuring back in 2009

There is huge movement going on today with KBC. I too got a call this morning to say back on tracker from 1st March. I'm expecting original margin. Will have a letter confirming this next week. Let's not forget that Padraic Kissane has been working tirelessly for years on KBC and produced the...

KBC KBC basing cohorts on Application date rather than Draw-down dates

The flyer clearly states that All IIB Homeland fixed rates will now roll onto tracker upon expiry and it is my belief that anyone that applied during this period or indeed drew down during this period should be impacted. I believe you need to consult with Padraic Kissane since he is the one...

KBC KBC says I am not impacted

Kbc are in front of the committee next week why don't you put that question to them via the politicians! KBC tracker - switched lenders

If you look at the last line of the quote below "if the account is still open" this may be the answer. This is KBC s criteria. Other banks have not stated this. . 650 PDH (Private Dwelling Home) mortgage accounts are now also identified as impacted. These related to new mortgage applications...

KBC KBC statement on tracker redress

Kbc can not try the same trick! It clearly states the margins the fixed rates will roll to on the communication (flyer)to the broker. This relates to Nov 06-feb 08 cohorts. I understand this AIB cohort are getting together and will not accept AIBs new claim regarding the prevailing rate. We...

KBC KBC statement on tracker redress

Here is the quote. He specifically refers to those accounts who were not on trackers not those that had trackers! For customers who did not have a tracker, and who were affected by the prevailing rate clause that the Deputy referred to, or similar clauses, since many contracts exist, we...
