The media set up is that the houses are pre-wired for Sky & Saorview. Sky have a shared dish system whereby there's one dish in the development (At the front but is being moved soon) and then cables running to every house meaning once you subscribe to Sky your house can be 'activated' and you...

Planning has changed from 2 story to 4 story apparently. From the plans it does look quite imposing, hence the meeting tomorrow night. There are a few weeks left to lodge any objections as far as I know.

Citybins also supply Fingal and can work out quite a bit cheaper. Some in Diswellstown use them.

Saw that alright but nearly all documents in that file are from 2013. This was a response to questions the council had before granting planning permission. I can't see anything in the file where it could be superseded but open to correction.

Just came across this in the planning application for Diswellstown Manor. I'm nearly sure it refers to the entrance at The Beeches there? Looks like it will be closed at night [broken link removed]

Excellent post Niall Jordan, nice to see people deal in facts! Personally I wouldn't mind the Beeches being the only pedestrian access point once it's paved and lit well. I'm not overly pushed on having access directly into Hamilton Park.

Rats being around are not really symptomatic of anything bar that there is building work going on nearby. I wouldn't let it put me off a house or development if I liked it. I'd be surprised if there was any building site that size in Dublin that hadn't had similar problems.

Don't think it's near social. I'd imagine it's just that those houses were released later than most. Think they released them when all available 4 beds had already been sold.

There is a gap left in the second road (you can see it when you're in the estate). There won't be one on the third road. There will also be the one that goes out onto the Beeches laneway. Also pedestrian access into the parkland area right beside the gate out onto the Porterstown road...
